We are glad you dropped by to visit. It is our hope that shopping here will be a pleasant experience for you - from browsing the books to the time you receive them in the mail. Your satisfaction is our primary concern.
We provide quality used and hard-to-find books likely to satisfy a wide range of reading and collecting interests. We also have a small but growing selection of new books and used audio books.
Prices on this site are at least 5% lower here than the prices we offer anywhere else on the Internet.
Most books here have scans of the actual book offered for sale, not stock publishers' photos.
Unless contraindicated, all our books have been cleaned, stickers removed and dust jackets protected with Brodart(tm) jacket covers.
We offer Free Shipping for purchases over $25.00. Offer is good for orders shipped to U.S. addresses. Books will ship using USPS Media Mail, our standard shipping method.
Our Shipping Practices
All books listed are in stock and ready to ship.
With rare exceptions, book orders with confirmed payment received by 12:00PM Pacific Time (GMT 20:00) Monday - Friday, will be shipped that same day. After this time, shipment will be the next business day. We usually ship on Saturdays, but this is less certain.
U.S. Domestic shipments will include delivery confirmation.
All customers, domestic or international, with questions about shipment options and delivery times, are encouraged to contact us.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover cards through our secure shopping cart. If you are concerned about the security of your information, we strongly recommend the encrypted checkout system. If you are reluctant to use this system, we can also take your information over the phone.
We also accept PayPal payment. If you choose this option at checkout, you will be automatically connected to PayPal's site with a linked invoice.
We also accept business and personal checks and money orders/cashiers checks all drawn on U.S. banks. Until we know you, checks must clear before books are shipped. Checks should be made out to Brick Road Books. We will hold books for payment for 7 days.
We buy and trade for Quality Used Books
If you live in or near Ellensburg, Washington, we would be happy to consider your books or book collection. We are interested in all kinds of used books in very good condition. Because of the volume of books coming in, we are cutting way back on accepting books in some categories, these are: Self-improvement, political tell-alls, hard cover general or genre fiction without dust jackets, romance paperbacks, most Time-Life series, most book sets (unless they are special,) and, most recent celebrity memoirs.
