In brief, you should know the following about us: We purchased Flintlock kennels in 2005 & had been in business under that name since 1984. We've since changed the name to Flintlock Country Kennels and have operated the kennel since 2005. We've been committed to providing outstanding pet boarding and grooming services ever since. Co-Owner Shelley Monson has worked professionally with animals for over 25 years. She trained Hearing Dogs for the deaf at the San Francisco SPCA . She has trained dogs in pers French Ring sport, AKC obedience , show and agility. She also worked at an Emergency Pet Hospital for 2 years before moving to Washington State. Co-Owner Judy Kneis has worked professional with animals for over 25 years. She has worked at PetExpress Boarding Kennel and PetExpress Pet Shipping Company in San Francisco. She also worked with shelter animals at the Oakland SPCA and the San Francisco SPCA as an animal attendant supervisor.
Professional Dog Groomer Toni has been a professional all breed dog groomer since 1976. With over 33 years experience she is an excellent Professional Groomer & has worked here for over 12 years.
Animal Care Attendent Kasie has worked with animals as a volunteer and through a Veterinary Assistant course. She has worked here since 2008 and is our main kennel attendant. Along with a natural talent for working with animals, she also plays the guitar, sings, writes her own music, makes jewelry and is an artist.
Animal Care Attendant & Bather Chaundra started working with us in 2009. She operated a cat rescue program for many years and really enjoys working with the boarding cats and dogs.
Animal Care Attendant Julie is our weekend attendant. She has worked with us since 2008. She works another full time job and is a full time student. She also plays a mean game of pokemon.
