Wood flooring is a large investment in your home. We install with an eye for quality and apply finish that will last for years. We take pride and pleasure in hearing our previous customers tell us that their floors still look like new.
You won't hear us say "that's just the way wood is", we'll explain about the properties of wood. "That's just how it comes out of the box", true, but it doesn't have to go in that way. We strive to install your flooring with craftsmanship and an eye for for what will look best. "We install next day". Rarely. First we make sure the flooring is acclimated appropriately, and in new construction, test the subfloors for moisture. Moisture, or lack of it, can be the cause of movement, we work to limit that potential movement.
We have the knowledge and experience to help you choose between the many choices in sustainable, eco-friendly and GREENGUARD Certified flooring products, finishes, stains and cleaning products. We only use the highest quality, commercial grade products. Our goal is to have your flooring, and finish, last for years. Wood flooring is one of the most practical, easy-care and versatile floor coverings today. Maintained properly, wood flooring should never have to be replaced.

Christopherson Wood Floors has been in business for over 50 years, and is now a second and third generation business. Most of our work is in Thurston, Mason, and Grays Harbor counties. However, many well-known, discerning customers have requested our service in Seattle and the San Juan Islands. We are the trusted name in the hardwood flooring business.
