Necky Kayaks has the new Rip out, a great little 10'6" boat that tracks well, has a large cockpit, and is very stable. If you are looking for a boat for short trips, or for dropping in off your bigger boat, this is a good one to try.
Yearly Rental Pass. For those of you who want to paddle often, without the hassle of hauling your boat around (or even having one), this is the ticket.
If you are looking for a kayak to carry on your big boat, how about an easy-to-store Advanced Frame inflatable single or double, or their new Expedition K-1? The Manitou Sport in poly by Necky is also a popular choice.
Necky's Manitou Two is a recreational double with one large cockpit in the stern, to accommodate a child, the dog, etc, with a removable child's seat, and a standard cockpit in the bow. Each will take a sprayskirt for venturing out on choppy days.
