Lake City Presbyterian Church is a congregation of approximately 225 members located in a residential neighborhood in north Seattle. We have served God through worship and ministry in this location for over 60 years. Started as a mission church of Seattle First Presbyterian, LCPC has just recently completed the second phase of a building renovation in order to better meet the needs of the activities and ministries of a multi-generational church.
As a congregation, we are being led by God to consider new ways of worship, service, and education. With active involvement of lay leadership, several task forces are enthusiastically examining new opportunities.
Our Vision Is...
... a congregation full of people who are hungry for spiritual growth and discipleship with Jesus, engaged in Bible study, praying daily, giving generously.
... a congregation that is outreach-oriented, hospitable and inviting, growing and multiplying; renewed and renewing because it is prayer-driven and Spirit-led, directing its resources toward ministries of outreach and spiritual growth, beholding the face of Christ in every face.
... hurts being healed, the hungry being fed, peace, hope and joy expressed personally and corporately, lives transformed by the love of Jesus Christ, that God may be glorified.
