I have been in the private practice of law for over twenty five years.

For many years I was a partner in a downtown Seattle law firm, where my practice primarily involved handling complex real estate transactions and business law matters.

Several years ago I left downtown
Seattle in order to expand my practice into the place where my heart resides, in the field of adoption.

I have developed a thriving adoption law practice and continue to practice in the areas of real estate and business transactions. I have also expanded my practice into other areas of law, including preparation of wills and powers of attorney, probate, advising non-traditional families and unmarried couples, preparation of assisted reproduction agreements, and other types of contracts and transactions.

I also help people who are facing financial difficulties to navigate the maze of new federal programs , understand the implications of defaulting on loans, and consider all available alternatives, including bankruptcy.

I am proud to have earned the Martindale-Hubbell AV rating, recognizing my high level of legal ability and adherence to ethical standards.
