Maritime Pacific Brewing Company is our small, family-owned brewery, established in 1990. As traditional home port to Northwest mariners, the Ballard district of Seattle provides us the perfect setting for a brewery with a seafaring name and tall ship as its emblem. With its full-rigged white clipper ship set against dramatic Olympic Mountains, the Maritime Pacific logo recalls days past when fast windships once plied these Puget Sound waters laden with cargo for trade in exotic ports-of-call. To please the descendants of those bygone sailors in whom the taste for fine local beer lives on, and to salute Seattle's seafaring history, the Maritime Pacific Brewing Company was created.

At Maritime Pacific, we brew truly handcrafted ales and lagers, enhancing the traditional recipes to produce unique beers for the Northwest taste. Added to a fleet of year-round favorites are specialty seasonal beers, providing the enthusiast with an ever-changing choice of beverage to refresh the beer-drinking soul. All of Maritime Pacific's brews are well balanced and flavorful, designed to be enjoyed by themselves or as accompaniment to your favorite foods.

In 1997, we opened a taproom adjoining the brewery and named it the "Jolly Roger" in honor of our most popular holiday brew. Couched in a cozy, warm atmosphere complete with a "pirate" flair, it is here in the Jolly Roger Taproom that you will fully appreciate the extensive variety of fine Maritime Pacific brews along with our delicious, reasonably priced entrees designed especially to complement them. Kegs and bottles to go and a collection of logo wearables and gifts are also available for sale here. Come see us! Enjoy a pint and a good meal at the Jolly Roger.
