When it comes to garage doors, Northwest Door is a leader in innovation and quality. Northwest is a family owned business that began in 1946 installing wooden garage doors. Since 1970 Northwest Door has been an inventive overhead garage door manufacturer catering to the needs of the market place. In 1989 Northwest introduced the Therma Shield, one of the first steel sandwich construction doors which has now evolved into the Therma Tech line.
Wood garage doors, steel garage doors and aluminum garage doors are available in either a traditional panel style or the carriage house style. Carriage garage doors replicate historic swing-type and side folding doors. Northwest's custom wood garage doors include the Heritage Classic and the Township Collection. Northwest introduced the first all aluminum stile and rail carriage door, the Infinity Classic in 2004. Then in 2006 the Therma Classic an insulated garage door with a high performance sandwich steel construction and in 2007 the 500 Classic steel carriage house doors were born. In 2008 the sleek and beautiful aluminum and glass Modern Classic was born and most recently the Builder Collection, made with the builder in mind.
