Born and raised in the Northwet, I know the area well. Spokane has numerous lakes close by, Medical Lake (above) is a short 15 minute drive to downtown Spokane. The golf courses are incredible and reasonably priced. Winter activities include 4 mayor Ski Resorts, Ice fishing and lots of snowmobiling. Along with all the other Athletic opportunites, the Theaters, Arts and shopping, Spokane is a great place to live.
