Vision... Temple De Hirsch Sinai leads the community in Reform Jewish thought and practice, enriching the lives of our members and our community as we explore our Jewish possibilities together.
Mission... Temple De Hirsch Sinai serves a large, diverse, multi-campus Reform Jewish congregation in the greater Seattle area and provides leadership in promoting Jewish ethical and moral concepts. We uphold the traditional values of our historic congregation and strive to create a progressive and contemporary Jewish environment providing worship, education, lifecycle events, community building, and community service opportunities to all of our members.

Hazmanah - An invitation to connect, listen, and act

Many of you heard Rabbi Cook preach on Yom Kippur about a new journey that TDHS is preparing to embark upon. This effort begins with a series of listening events, giving members of the congregation an opportunity to connect with one another over mutual passions or mutual pressures that each of us are confronting. Please plan on joining us so that your voice can be heard!

Upcoming events are:
Saturday, November 20 in Seattle. 11:45 AM to 2 PM, following our TNT worship service.
Sunday, November 21 in Bellevue. 12:45 PM to 3 PM.

To RSVP to any of these events, or for more information, please send an email to TDHSHazmanah@gmail.com. Read Rabbi Cook’s sermon for more information about this project.

Temple Voices: Preserving Jewish history, one story at a time
The goal of Temple Voices is to provide TDHS members of all ages and backgrounds with the opportunity to interview and record their family and friends sharing favorite memories of Temple, Judaism, and life so our combined wisdom can be collected and shared for generations to come.

By sharing our unique stories, we celebrate our shared humanity, build and strengthen our connections to each other, to our Temple, and to the greater Reform Jewish community. We reinforce a core value of Judaism: that all life is sacred and that godliness can be found in both the magnificent and the mundane. Subscribe to the Temple voices on iTunes.
