We are licensed by the State of Washington to provide Home Inspections (HI#444) and are Members of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI #204657). Our reports and inspections meet or exceed the widely accepted and recognized Standards of Practice required by ASHI, and we subscribe to ASHI's professional Code of Ethics.
We are also members of The National Organization Of Exterior Finish System Inspectors (NEFSI) and The Washington State Pest Management Association (WSPMA).In addition, we hold Wash State Structural Pest License (SPI #58962) which is required to inspect for Wood Destroying Organism (WDO) and conditions conducive to (WDO) growth. This type of inspection is available and offered for an additional fee and can be provided in conjunction with our standard home inspection.
For our protection, and yours, we carry general and professional liability insurance AND our policy extends coverage to referring real estate agents and brokers, relocation companies, appraisers, lenders, and attorneys.
Who are we? Good question! Eastside Inspection Services (EIS) is comprised of a licensed, competent and reliable inspector, Wendell Hedges, with many years of inspection experience and his lovely, charming and helpful wife, Lynn. We come to the inspection business from successful and complementary backgrounds in construction, real estate, and property management.
Wendell is a graduate of the nation's premier inspection training school, Inspection Training Associates (ITA).
