Serving Central Washington's Prosthetic & Orthotic needs
When you walk through the door of our offices in Yakima, you will enjoy our warm, comfortable atmosphere as we answer all of the questions you may have regarding prosthetics (artificial limb), orthotics (body brace) or diabetic footwear. You will benefit from the expertise of our practitioner, Gary D. Thompson, who is licensed and certified and has over 35 years of experience in prosthetics and orthotics. We provide service to all area hospitals, nursing homes, and retirement centers. We are also available for in-home visits when necessary. A Spanish interpreter is also available upon request.
You will appreciate the convenience we offer. We honor all types of insurance as well as Medicare, Medicaid (DSHS), VA and L&I claims. We even offer 90 days same as cash financing to private pay patients.
We provide amputees with mobility, comfort, and an improved self-image with the latest designs available in prosthetic limbs. Due to technological advances, prosthetic components are continually changing, which can make the decision-making process confusing. We are here to help guide you in choosing the device that best suits your needs.
Patients requiring orthotics will benefit from the support, protection, and improved function that the devices provide. We measure, design, and manufacture orthotic devices right here in our facility, providing you with a custom-fit device in a timely manner.
It is very important for diabetics to take necessary precautions to keep their feet healthy. We provide therapeutic footwear to patients with diabetes, arthritis, and foot trauma.
At Advanced Prosthetic and Orthotic Center, we are sensitive to the burden of escalating medical costs. Our standard policy is to provide the most functional and appropriate device for the patient’s well being, in the most cost-effective manner, utilizing all available resources.
As part of our commitment to provide a renewed quality of life for our patients, we encourage our patients to join an amputee support group. Contact us for further information.
