Although still very much a work-in-progress, our new web site has a much-improved focus: You. Our focus is going to be squarely on the community of hunting and fishing enthusiasts in both North Central Washington and also around the world. Our web site has global reach, so we welcome and enjoy the interaction with like-minded folks from all around our planet.
Consistent with our community focus, we plan to increase the amount of participation with our "subject matter experts." For the last few years High Mountain Hunting Supply has developed a reputation as "the real deal". Not only is owner Kelsey Hilderbrand an avid outdoorsman and hunter, but his able assistants are all some of the finest around in their various fields of expertise: You'll not find a better archery hunter than Dewey McGowan (he also builds his own line of bows, too), and nobody knows what fish are biting where better than Mike Bohr.
These guys know their stuff. We think you'll enjoy getting to know them.
High Mountain Hunting Supply is not a corporate monolith with an army of nameless and faceless employees. We are Kelsey, Dewey, Mike, Jerry, Beth, and the rest of the gang (with Ross hanging out online). We are blessed to be able to mix work and play and share our love of the outdoors with you.
We hope you like the new approach. As always, you can let us know what you think via our feedback form:

You don't want to know what else Kelsey has shot in the store. :-)
Kelsey likes to shoot the breeze in the store.

More space means more stuff. Lots more stuff, including some awesome clothing.
HMHS has a greatly expanded clothing section thanks to the latest expansion.

Fishing guru Mike Bohr can give pointers to where they are what they're biting, too.
Dewey McGowan, Jr. shows off just a small portion of the greatly expanded HMHS fishing department.

Nice shorts. The area in the back of the store has been divided into a classroom and workshop, too.
Tammy Lambert (webmaster's wife) shows off some new camo shorts. High Mountain has many female fans!

Try to avoid asking which one has the higher IQ
Kelsey shows off the High Mountain tree. Yes, we have a tree in the store. Nobody knows why,…

High Mountain Expands Again!
In early August, High Mountain Hunting Supply tore down the remaining walls and expanded to fill up the entire historic (and aptly-named) Armory building in downtown Wenatchee, WA. Kelsey and the gang put up a tree--seriously--and expanded virtually every aspect of the store. In addition to scores of new products and more of everything else, the store now has its own classroom as well as a greatly expanded workshop in the back.
Come on down and check out the new digs. Kelsey has the coffee pot on every day. If you can't make it to Wenatchee, you can get a little taste of the new space and the grand re-opening in the slideshow in the middle of the home page.

Here's one from the "What Were They Thinking?" department... A local radio station gave Kelsey a little radio show. We've taken the recordings of each spot and created a podcast for you. If you have your own podcast player, you can get the feed here:
http://luvtohunt.com/crosshairs.xml
If you don't know or care what a podcast/RSS feed is, the player below does the job nicely all by itself. You can listen to all of Kelsey's shows so far; they're listed most recent first. Just click on the one that interests you. If you want to you're welcome to click the little "menu" button on the controller and copy the code to embed it on your own web site, on Facebook, on MySpace, or just send the link along to a friend.
