Nestled in the Cascade Mountains, Stewart Lodge is located in the heart of Cle Elum, Washington...a mere 90 minute scenic drive over Snoqualmie Pass from Seattle and sixty minutes across Blewett Pass to Leavenworth.
The Yakima River is one of the finest fly fishing and family rafting rivers in the United States. This famed river runs along two favorite scenic back roads that parallel I-90 (Route 10 from Ellensburg Washington to Cle Elum, Washington, West toward Seattle), and Route 97, which parallels route 82 and is a favorite "short cut" to Oregon and California. Many families stop along the way to view wildlife such as big horn sheep, elk and deer, eagles, great blue herons, all common along these routes.
In the summer, enjoy our warmer weather and adventure out for a day of hiking and biking on one of the many area trails or golf at one of the many local golf courses including Sun Country and Suncadia. Or you might enjoy strolling through the shops in Cle Elum such as Mac-A-Bee gifts or nearby Roslyn.
During the winter, head outdoors for a day of snowmobiling, cross-country skiing or snowshoeing. Then you could enjoy dinner at one of the wonderful local restaurants.
