He's an Auntie's Winner!
When he visited Spokane this summer,Michael Goodblatt had no idea he would stop in at Auntie's, enter our Stieg Larsson t-shirt drawing andWIN! But he did.
This great t-shirt, celebrating the 3rd and final book in the "Millenium" series - The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest - was provided by Random House as a special gift for one lucky winner.
After he was told the good news, the shirt was mailed toMichael's home back East and he kindly sent us this photo showing off his new possession. We're sure this will be a treasuredsouvenir from his trip to our fair city.

See what Marina, an Auntie's employee and EWU student put together for a recent project on T.S. Eliot. We hope this brings much laughter and a little bit of learning!
When you shop at an independently owned business, your entire community benefits:
Spend $100 at a local business and $68 of that stays in your community. Spend the same $100 at a national chain, and your community only sees $43.
Local businesses create higher paying jobs for our neighbors.
More of your taxes are reinvested in your community--where they belong.
Buying local means less packaging, less transportation, and a smaller carbon footprint.
Shopping in a local business district means less infrastructure, less maintenance, and more money to beautify your community.
Local retailers are your friends, neighbors--support them and theyll support you.
Local businesses donate to charities and events (especially local ones) at more than twice the rate of national chains.
More independents means more choice, more diversity, and a truly unique community.
Now is the time to stand up and join your fellow individuals in the IndieBound mission supporting local businesses and celebrating your independents.
