Boys & Girls Aid

For 125 years, weve been helping Oregons children. We do this in a number of ways. We find children permanent homes through adoption. We provide temporary safe places to stay through shelters and foster homes. And we connect kids with caring adults through mentoring.

National Adoption Month

Boys & Girls Aid is excited to celebrate National Adoption Month in November. The month is aimed at raising awareness about children needing a family. For the last 125 years, we have been helping birthparents find families for their children through adoption. During November we will participate in two events to mark the special month.

Executive Director Recognized for his 25 Years of Service

Boys & Girls Aid Executive Director, Michael H. Balter, was honored during the Agencys Annual Meeting on Tuesday, September 28. Balter and his wife, Karen Balter, received the Boys & Girls Aid community philanthropy achievement award The Irene H. Gerlinger Family Philanthropy Award during the organizations 125th Annual Meeting.
