Chestnut Montessori School is a small, nurturing, child-centered community where children develop a love of learning. Located on the border of Kirkland and Bellevue, our campus is a former farm with beautiful historic chestnut trees, a variety of conifers, fruit trees, flowering plants, gardens, a large play yard and a nature walk.
Classrooms are spacious with large windows which provide an abundance of natural light.

Chestnut Montessori School was founded in 2008 by Jeannine Hanson to fulfill her dream of a Montessori school where children, parents, teachers and teachers-in-training could learn and grow in an ideal and peaceful Montessori setting.
