UPDATE!!!! I really need to get this out there because I have had a bit of disturbing information brought to my attention. Contrary to popular belief, rumors of the store being closed are greatly exaggerated. We are not closed and the move we are talking about won't be coming around until after the Holidays when our current lease expires. So, come on in, we're still here and still open.

As I mentioned in our last newsletter, there was going to be some interesting news forthcoming about the Import items in the store. Well, time to unveil the suspense and reveal the awaited(?)news.

If you haven't noticed already, the prices on the Imported Anime and Live action items just dropped to a new low per disc. From now until after the Christmas Holidays, every Import Title will be $6.00 per disc instead of the normal $8.00 per disc. If you take advantage of this to start getting those christmas presents early and maybe even upgrade your own library you'll be realizing an enormous savings for yourself and help us start to reduce the inventory before the end of the year when the Taxman cometh.

The other thing that reducing the inventory will do is help us when it is time to move the store to a new location around March or April of the coming year. Unfortunately, though the store itself is nice and roomy making it easy to shop and browse, you have to have traffic in the store shopping and browsing. Due to the off the street location we took when we first set up this just isn't happening and so we will be leaving this location and trying to find some place with more main street exposure so people will see us and find us easier. As they say in the Real Estate Trade - "Location, Location, Location". So, now that the secret is out, come on down and save yourself some long green while you stock your library and get that one series you always wanted.

Well, we're off to the races here in the final quarter of the year and things seem to really be lagging. So much for the Economic recovery they keep talking about in that place out East. Sure couldn't tell it from here where we are. Anyway, we will be having a brief Columbus day sale starting at 11 AM PDT and running through close of business on Tuesday the 12th of October. Everything except Import and Bargain will be 10% off the normal store prices.

Then, stand by for a special announcement on Thursday the 14th of October that will easily be some of the best news of the year for hopefully all of you.
