Lonesome cove resort has been a place of relaxation and renewal since its inception in the late forties. The waterfront and surrounding old growth forest land were camped on by the local indian tribes during the summer hunt as far back as recorded time. Just as they recognized its beauty and magic, so the generations of resort guests who have enjoyed its unique tranquility, have left somehow better for the experience and eager to return. Many have made the Cove their "special place" for up to twenty years of family vacations. The hand built log cabins are only forty feet from the beach. The views are an everchanging scene of whales, otters, seals, sea lions, and eagles. The sea, the sky and the distant mountain range combine as nature's backdrop to the drama that all this wildlife brings. Ready for a slower pace where time is measured by the heart, not the clock?
