Welcome to the Browne’s Home Center web page. We are Friday Harbor’s oldest and most inclusive hardware and building supply store, serving all of the San Juan Islands. Our affiliation with Do It Best allows us to pride ourselves on our vast inventory of in-stock items as well as our access to thousand of items we can have in your hand in a very short period of time. No matter how large or how small your order, our staff is pleased to help you with your needs. We carry many brand names, including but not exculsive to Do It Best. From Makita, Dewalt, Hitachi, Milwaukee tools to Benjamin Moore, Valspar, Sikkens and Cabot paint products, to Rubbermaid, Sterling, and Mr. Coffee in our housewares department, we are pleased to be able to bring you products to suit your needs at comfortable prices very comparable to the big box stores of the mainland.
Our building supplies are available from the first footing, to the final interior trim. And we have experts to answer any questions you might have regarding your building process. Gretchen Shaw and Larry Chamberlain can assist you in putting together your construction package, Sharon Spangler is available to put your design ideas into plans for your kitchen and bath, and Gary Copps will provide you with the doors and windows to suit your wishes.
