Blanchard Chapel is located just off beautiful Chuckanut Drive in Blanchard, Washington. The Chapel was built in 1911, and was originally a Methodist country church. It sits along Colony Creek, with Blanchard Mountain as a scenic backdrop. The former church is now available for a wide variety of events and is particularly well-suited to weddings and receptions. The Chapel offers the beauty and charm of a traditional wedding while accommodating a variety of individual preferences.
Blanchard Chapel comfortably seats over 100 guests, with an indoor maximum of 120, and is also intimate enough for smaller occasions. The Chapel has been lovingly restored; the Sanctuary has a traditional cathedral ceiling and the original pews. A stereo system and a piano are available for your use.
The adjoining reception area is casually elegant, with knotty pine walls and tranquil views toward Colony Creek and neighboring fields. The Reception Room contains tables, chairs, lace tablecloths, coffee service and more.
We welcome spontaneous to elaborate events, civil ceremonies, religious vows of any faith, commitment ceremonies, renewals of vows, wedding anniversaries, music recitals and plays, as well as many other diverse events. Blanchard Chapel will provide a unique and memorable atmosphere for your special occasion.
