Before you start to sew, here are a couple of easy maintenance tasks that you can do yourself to get your machine in good working order. Use canned air to blow the lint & dust from around the bobbin case, replace the needle and if you have the mechanical type of machine be sure to oil your machine as instructed by the manufacturer. If you have any other problems you should have it professionally serviced.
