Thank you for visiting the Gig Harbor Cooperative Preschool website. We welcome you to explore and learn about GHCP and how the ‘Cooperative Experience’ allows you to actively participate in your child’s early education. Your child receives the encouragement to become lifelong learners and you, as a parent, become a more confident ‘teacher’ to your child through our affiliated support of Bates Technical College.
GHCP provides benefit to each child from its learning atmosphere designed to promote cognitive, language, physical, emotional, and social growth. The curriculum is designed to build foundational development through the use of motor skill training, hands on experience, and visual learning. As each child refines their skills, it provides them with a higher self-esteem and more self-confidence, leading them to personal success for years to come.
