Welcome and thank you for visiting my website. I have created it as a way to introduce myself to you and to assist you in your decision to consider working with me.
I provide individual counseling and psychotherapy to adults and teens.
I bring 14+ years of clinical experience to my private practice on Bainbridge, which I established in 1999. Prior to that I did clinical work in public school and agency settings, the most recent being Bainbridge Youth Services.
I bring dedication, training, and the capacity to enjoy an occasional and respectful chuckle to this work, which to me, is less about "fixing" pain and more about how we can relate to others and ourselves in ways that " transform" it. I find people who have the "transformed" experience happier and less anxious than those whose experience is limited to the "fix it" approach.
