CHEMICAL DEPENDENCY TREATMENT MOVES
In April, 2009, Palouse Counseling transferred our State chemical dependency license to Teaming for Success. This allows us to focus on mental health and emotional wellness, while adding another resource to the community. Teaming for Success offers a full range of outpatient chemical dependency services as well as Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy. They can be reached at 509-522-2791. For assessments, call Kim Funderburk, LICSW, CDP, at 509-526-4422. People with questions about their chemical dependency treatment at Palouse should call TFS, as all chemical dependency records transferred with the license.

We are planning a small consignment shop to provide a place for some of our creative clients to sell their hand-made jewelry and other products. Sales of other items will provide funding for therapy for people who have no other resources. We hope to open in time for Christmas shopping--watch this space!
Some of you have met Angel, our golden retriever. Angel was apparently dumped in the country, perhaps because she was with puppy. Puppies, to be more exact. She came to stay with us at Palouse Counseling. She has a friendly greeting for everyone who comes in the door, but she's now on maternity leave after delivering ten fat, healthy babies! After we find homes for the puppies, we'll have Angel fixed. She will then continue to enjoy retirement from motherhood with us. So . . . anyone want a puppy???
