The second factor is how high the camera needs to be flown to in order to encompass the appropriate area within the frame of the camera and selected lens. Time and special climate considerations need to be taken into account for images that require high altitudes. The last consideration is how the images will be used. There is only a single point assessment of the exposures determined at the point of purchase. The images are either classified as private or commercial. These fees are assigned to the entire package and not the individual image files.

Some jobs require active customer input at the time of image capture, or you may just want to be aboard for the ride. Customers are always welcome when possible if time and conditions permit. A nominal surcharge is applied to account for gross weight adjustment and aircraft performance.

There are several factors that determine the suitability of your site for aerial imaging. If trees are too thick to see a dwelling from the ground, they are most likely too thick to get any better vantage point from the air. Aspect can also be a critical component of the site. If a site is located on the north slope of a hill in the winter then a capture session may not be appropriate due to poor light quality, as well as pointing the camera at too close of an angle towards the sun. Lot size can also be a troublesome point if it is an irregular shape or several hundred acres in size then other properties will not be isolated from the frame. Properties on the shoreline need to strongly consider tide height and water quality when trying to determine the correct time for a capture session.
