Welcome to Vashon Guitar Company. Headquartered on beautiful Vashon Island, Washington, VGC was first formed by islander Bob Krinsky in 2006 to fill a void in the archtop electric guitar market. Please come in and explore these pages to see VGCs lines of superbly crafted premium electric archtop, acoustic and jazz box guitars. A life-long devotee of the electric archtop guitar, Bob found that there were virtually no top quality instruments available at price points within reach of all but the wealthiest professional players. Bobs search led him to a family of the best "invisible" guitar makers in the world who had previously crafted instruments for some of the most revered brands in the world, but who were then committed to marketing their skills to the European markets. After lengthy discussions, agreement was reached to produce limited numbers of Vashon Guitars for those players knowledgeable enough to recognize the perfect marriage of quality and price. The proof is in the playing, so come in and let your fingers do the talking.
