At Hammond Knoll, we are skilled at using several different cleaning methods. Thermal extraction, portable extraction, dry foam, dry bonnet, and rotary extraction cleaning are all available to us for on-site cleaning. For cleaning area rugs in our plant, there are many more techniques used depending on what the rug is made of (silk, wool, cotton, etc.) For most of our on-site cleaning, however, we generally recommend the powerful truck-mounted thermal extraction process. Thermal extraction is the most effective means for removing deep stains and ground-in soil. Extraction cleaning is also recommended by most major carpet manufacturers to maintain their warranties.
