INTENT TO ADOPT SHORELINE MASTER PROGRAM
On June 21, 2010 City Council passed Resolution 42-2010. By approving this resolution, they are not committing to adopting the draft plan as it now exists. The City of Omak will be offering a FREE Fall Clean Up on Saturday, November 13, 2010. We ask that you bag your leaves, grass clippings and weeds.You should bundle your tree branches and theyshould be no longer thanfour feet long and three inches in diameter. There is no limit to theamount of bags you put out.

OMAK'S TRANSPORTATION PRIORITIES
Omak's street system contains roughly 28 miles of roadway within the incorporated city limits (see Table IV.IX.1 for inventory data). This total does not include those portions of US 97, SR 155, and SR 215 withing thecity limits, which comprise another 6 miles of road. of these 28 miles, approximately 8.3 miles have curb and gutter and sidewalk.
Theintersection of Riverside Drive (SR 215) and US 97 is the busiest in town with approximately 12,000 average daily trips (ADT) with the intersection at Main and Central in downtown a close second at 11,500 ADT.
The Omak Chamber of Commerce invites you to the 26th Annual TwilightChristmas Paradeon Saturday, December 4th. The parade will stage on Riverside Drive in front of the Cornerstone Church. It will begin at4:30 p.m. and flow down Main Street. The themeis "Joy to the World"
