Welcome to the Gary Allen Carlington Certified Public Accountants website. Gary has over thirty years of experience as a CPA, with ten years at a large regional firm and the balance in his own practice, Gary has particular expertise in the field of taxation, including small businesses, non-profit organizations, and estate & gift taxation.A graduate of the University of Puget Sound, Gary also has a Masters degree in Taxation from Golden Gate University. Knowledgeable staff is a must, so each member of our accounting staff is required to complete at least 40 hours per year of continuing education in accounting and taxation to make sure we are current on the latest changes in the tax laws and other matters affecting you and your business. Our experience ranges from helping people with their individual tax concerns and home based businesses through assisting multistate and multinational companies in a variety of areas. Our tax clientele are located locally in the Pierce, King, and Thurston county areas. We have been at our present location since 1987.
Our Commitment to Community
Gary is a life-long Puyallup resident and lives in this area with his wife and two daughters. The firm is a member of the Puyallup-Sumner Chamber of Commerce, the Puyallup Main Street Association, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants. We regularly assist various community based non-profit organizations with tax and accounting matters and as consultants. Gary currently sits on the boards of various community organizations and is an active member in his church.
