Operating at Westford Funeral Home & Cremation Service, we at Bellingham Monuments are your monument specialists. Many people refer to these as tombstones, grave markers, gravestones or headstones. We provide monuments to all cemeteries in Whatcom, Skagit, and Island Counties, including Bayview, Greenacres, Woodlawn, Enterprise, Lynden and Mt. Vernon. We are family owned and have a long history of customer satisfaction. Whether your preference is granite or bronze, our goal is to create a quality and lasting tribute. If you wish to match an older existing marker we are skilled in doing that as well. Long after the service and burial has taken place, the grave marker remains as a permanent tribute to a life that was lived.
Upright monuments can mark a single, companion or family plot.
Single markers may vary in size and can include a permanent vase.
Special designs and symbols personalize the monument
Veterans are entitled to a free bronze marker. This may be installed on a granite base with a bronze vase.
Personalized scriptures, designs and lettering make a monument special.
Companion markers allow husband and wife to be memorialized together. Vase blocks may be added separately.
Slant markers are more visible and have more depth.
When an urn is buried in an existing plot, an additional marker may be placed.

Creating your grave marker or monument:
We have simplified the process of monument selection into 3 easy steps.
Step 1: Select the size and shape
As seen in the photos above, markers come in a variety of sizes and shapes. They may mark the graves of an individual, a couple, or a family. They may also mark the placement of a cremation urn.
You may choose a flat, slant, upright monuments or even benches. Flower vases may be included as well. We can advise you on which styles and sizes meet the regulations of your preferred cemetery.
Step 2: Select the color
Most people select granite on the basis of the color that they like best. Each of our 25 color options have its own distinct quarry. We have access to granite around the world. Bronze is another popular option.
Step 3: Select the design
Brainstorm those symbols, pictures and words that represent the uniqueness of your loved one. You may select a design in our books of standard designs or we can help you create a custom design. We can also deep etch a portrait or include ceramic portrait encased in granite on your marker.
