"Prior to the training classes, we could not walk around Green Lake without
Louella barking and pulling on us. (Now)....she is quite easy to control, even when
other dogs are barking at her and pulling to get closer to us."
Have you been frustrated living with your dog?
We all love our dogs, but it can be annoying not knowing how to make our dogs understand how to behave appropriately in our home and in our neighborhood.
Perhaps some of your frustrations have become severe concerns when your dog has shown aggression and protective instincts in inappropriate settings.
How would you like to be able to clearly teach your dog the rules?
Stop them from ever jumping on you or anyone else
Be able to set temporary boundaries instantly for them
Give them a command that will make them ignore anything in which they have shown interest
Make them come back to you whenever you call them
Make sure they never bolt out of your car door or your front door
And anything else that can be reasonably required of a dog
Does this sound too good to be true? Many of our clients thought so too before they went through our program.
First, our techniques are based on how dogs interact with each other, so it communicates with them in ways that they are biologically wired to understand.
Second, and most importantly, we train you. We teach you how your dog thinks; we teach you effective leash techniques, proper timing, proper praise and correction techniques to mold your dogs behavior. Since we wont always be there to guide you in every situation, it is important for you to learn to do what we do with your dog.
We, like many other qualified trainers, could have your dog doing whatever we wanted them to do in a matter of hours. However, we wont always be around and weve found that its most important for you to understand how to do what we do so that you can train your dog effectively with our guidance. Further, as youll learn in our training training classes, your dog knows if the person at the other end of the leash knows what theyre doing. It is crucial in any effective dog training program that your dog develops a clear relationship with you and your family. Our training program takes you through well thought out steps, that have been developed over decades of training through various trainers, that gradually build that proper relationship and allows your dog to learn very clearly what his or her role is in your home.
Our dog training courses are designed for long-term effectiveness. We know that you dont want your dog to be perfect for the week you get them back from the trainer only to find out that all of the unwanted behaviors are back within two months. After you go through our program you will have an in depth understanding of your dog's mind and instincts, as well as have clear knowledge about how to deal with any behavioral situation that comes up in the future. While we are always a resource for you we dont want you to be dependant on us.
The majority of our clients have worked with various other trainers prior to coming to us. Our long-term approach allows you to learn the techniques and insights that professional trainers know, we aim to be the last stop for all your dog training needs. We aim to give you the tools to become confident in training with your dog for their entire life. Our clients have already experienced the difference between living with an untrained dog, and the enjoyment and freedom that comes with having a well trained dog and the knowledge that comes with learning to train them. Wouldnt you like to experience that difference too?
