Weekday morning hours are flexible by appt.

$36/night for 2 dogs in the same kennel or $38/night for 2 dogs in seperate kennel

There may be a $15/day fee for early pickup

This is Lexi. We think she is a Swiss Mountain/St. Bernard mix. She is a regular here and is super sweet, but she acts like a bully the first time other dogs meet her. As they say though, "she's all bark and no bite". When it's time to go home she knows the drill and jumps right into the tub to get clean and pretty for her owner, she's such a girl. Her owner, Jim often enjoys our "curbside service" by not getting out of his truck for drop-offs and pick-ups. Lexi is definitely a favorite here, Israel and I both love her to death! ;)

Barking Barnyard dog boarding is committed to providing superior kenneling service in the Yakima Valley area. Our belief is that a dog boarding facility should provide maximum playtime in large play areas on natural and sanitary green grass.

Our goal is to provide a unique experience for your pet at our dog boarding facility.

For starters, you get to see exactly where your dog will play and you get to escort your dog to their kennel. In our own experiences with other facilities this is not usually the case. We believe our customers have the right to explore as much of our facility as they want.
What other dog boarding facility in the Yakima area brings dogs outside to enjoy bonfires at night or provides an average of 5-6 hrs. of daily monitored playtime?
Our kennels are also very unique. They are outside which provides constant fresh air. They have spacious fully insulated dog houses with radiant heat. There are no cement slabs here either, just a thick clean bed of pea gravel.
Lastly, I truly LOVE my job and I believe it shows in my level of care and professionalism.

Our play space is vast but our kennel space is not so book your pet's adventure today!
