Photo Chemical Milling (also known as photo etching) is an alternative to machining method to more conventional methods. It is the only method where complexity of design does not incrementally increase production costs. It also can accomodate for intricate geometries and is well known to produce true-to-plan thin metal parts. It can also retain the proper strength of the metal source throughout the fabrication process. Design revisions are no longer a hassle with photo chemical etching, and less time is lost. Photo chemical etching is also capable of producing one million parts simultaneously that can fit tight production schedules throughout the R & D phase all the way through production. Expect burr-free and oil-free components that are free of discoloration or warping.
