Charlie Henrys Baton Rouge Fast Wrap

Charlie Henry had a feeling the widely-varied industries in Southern Louisiana and the Gulf Coast of Mississippi would benefit from Fast Wraps asset protection services. In fact, he was so confident he started his own franchise in October of 2009.
In only six months since the Baton Rouge-based Fast Wrap opened, Charlie has felt nothing but encouragement. Business is increasing monthly, and the regions mobile shrink wrapping applications are so diversified, they appear to be unlimited. March of 2010 drove that point home, with not only one notable project of grand proportions, but three, each completely different.
First was Fast Wraps contribution to the petro-chemical industry. Three 40-foot, 250,000-pound heat exchange tubes needed total enclosure for storage. Cranes were used to lift the tubes so the wrap could be placed underneath, then folded over to completely enclose the tube like a cocoon.
Taking on the maritime industry next, Fast Wrap was called in to re-wrap four 40-foot tall cranes which arrived by barge after a long journey across country. Their protective wrapping, not provided by Fast Wrap before transport, was in a state of disrepair upon arrival. Charlie and his team used lifts to reach the tops, removed the old wrapping, and then replaced it with fresh Fast Wrap, ensuring the expensive equipment would be safe while sitting on-site for the next six to eight months.
A complete departure from wrapping heavy equipment, the third project involved wrapping cars that had been in accidents for a major rental company, after inspection by insurance adjustors and lawyers from all involved parties. Once inspected thoroughly, the damaged vehicles were wrapped for protection from the elements before being auctioned off to reclaim some of the value.
