Mike Bertish is the owner and operator of this unique one-man shop. His faithful sidekick is his beloved Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Irma. Mike has more than 17 years experience as a licensed Stylist, Aesthetician & Nail Tech, and is a certified Permanent Cosmetics Artist.
The Art of Hair is a private, full service salon that caters to both men and women. Having a solo stylist gives you the opportunity to relax and enjoy quality services in a comfortable and soothing environment, where you are the focus of all attention.
As an accomplished artist, Mike will provide creative inspiration and technical skill to make you look and feel your very best, and Irma will be your professional greeter and entertainment director. With a variety of services available, you can treat yourself to a personal spa day. Come see for yourself!
Having lived in all corners of the US, Mike made Vancouver his home-town in the early 1990's. He has a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree with Honors from the University of Illinois, and has been a licensed independent Cosmetologist in Washington State since 1994. He has worked in New York City, Chicago, and Seattle.
