Sequim Rare Plants, a nursery in Sequim Washington 98382
Beauty in Your Garden
A demonstration of what often overlooked and diverse plants there are.
We can only scratch the surface of all that the world offers. Expect this list of plants to expand and shift over time.
The Road to Our Door
This is the website of a small nursery in the town of Sequim (pronounced “skwim”) in Washington State that sends its plants to people across the country.
The plants offered are mostly flowering perennials, for a variety of climates. There are several ways the plants can be ordered. One of them would be your using our secure on-line shopping cart.
Please scan the list on the right to see if there is anything to interest you. Besides what you see now, there are additional plants waiting in the wings to be added later in the year and also next year.
These plants can be sent to gardeners in other countries. If you are outside the United States, it's better if you send us an email of the plants you want instead of ordering on-line from our website.
So What is This Nursery About?
The list of plants is organized as one single, long alphabetical list. There are about two hundred plants on it, so it isn't too long.
You might be asking, “what additional plants will be added in the future?” Special interests of ours that you can expect to see increase are: evergreen perennials, fragrant plants, winter flowers, kniphofias, ornamental grasses, plants with foliage colored other than green, such as dark leaved plants and variegated plants, and ....things that go “bump” in the night.
PayPal - 100% secure ordering
PayPal is a very secure way to pay online (eBay uses PayPal). When you are paying for plants on our website with a credit card, only PayPal sees your credit card number. PayPal does not share your number with us. The only information we see are the plants you have ordered and your name and address. So you can be confident that your privacy is protected.
The size of plants we offer
The plants offered for shipping are all grown here. And most of them are also propagated here.
The majority of our plants are grown in the size of container that is pictured here. Its dimensions are 5½ inches tall by 3 inches square at the top. A smaller percentage of plants are sent bare-root as husky divisions because they are field-grown in the ground (ones especially difficult to grow in small pots).
