Hollywood Lighting Services would like to welcome Gary Fairchild as our new System Sales Coordinator. Gary was born and raised in Oregon. After graduating from Gresham High School, he spent four years stationed in Atlanta, where he was trained as a combat medic, orthopedic tech, and physical therapy tech. After his military service, he moved back to Oregon and worked in home improvement sales until he began his career in the lighting and control industry in 1995 with a small company called NSI. Soon NSI became NSI/Colortran and eventually Leviton Energy Management. He was with the conglomerate for 13 years, ending his career with Leviton as the Manager of the Project Management Group. Gary is a single father of two great kids; Audrey who is 10, and Cole who is 8.

Hollywood Lighting Services is proud to be the largest independent lighting provider in the Pacific Northwest. Our history in the entertainment community is far reaching and as our customer base increased over the years, we strived to meet the demand. Unfortunately, as we learned to meet the needs of an ever-increasing customer base we sometimes faltered. While there are a number of reasons for this, we are focused on assuring that they will not happen in the future. We are adapting to become more attentive, less expensive and equally creative so we can build (and rebuild) the kind of relationships that have gotten us this far. We are rededicating ourselves to exceeding the needs and expectations of our clients and are excited to showcase our new customer service.

March 17, 2010 At Hollywood Lighting Services, six guiding principles have consistently sustained our practices and directed our growth as a company. As the importance of environmental sustainability becomes increasingly evident, Hollywood Lighting and the entertainment industry at large must examine the global impact that our decisions create. We endeavor to make decisions which reduce our carbon footprint while serving as leaders in our industry by applying the guiding principles that have led us to success.
