Mary Elizabeth Schmitt is in her eleventh year of practicing law. She received her Bachelor of Arts from the Pennsylvania State University in 1979. In 1980, she graduated with a Master of International Management from the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird School) in Glendale, Arizona where she specialized in international banking. Mary Schmitt received her Juris Doctorate in law from the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania in 1991. She began in private practice in Pennsylvania and then in 1992 she opened her practice in Everett, Washington. Mary Schmitt is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association, the American Trial Lawyers Association, the Snohomish County Bar Association and the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys.
