The first wind storm this winter definitely packed a punch. Halo crews have been responding all over Western Washington since Tuesday afternoon, helping homeowners who have been devastated by fallen trees and limbs. Halo’s General Manager, Jose, even suffered a tree strike on his own home. Of course Jose called Halo for the emergency service and crews were there in 30 minutes cutting up the tree and tarping off the roof. As soon as Jose and the crew were finished with Jose’s home, they were out responding to other homes where trees had fallen for the rest of the night.
Our top priority at Halo remains in serving our customers. Jose is proof of that! We make it a priority to respond as quickly as possible when there is a homeowner in need. Because we have two offices, one in Tacoma and one in Everett, our crews can respond as far north as the Canadian border and also to Southern Western Washington quickly!
Please take a moment to look at some of the tree strikes the Halo crews have responded to in the past few days.
It is the time of year again where as a company we prepare for our "busy season". Unlike most contractors, restoration contractors are busiest in the winter season. Whenever there is a storm or inclement weather, we are one of the few contractors that head-out to work. The idea of building a house in the dry summer months seems easy to Halo employees. Our people are out working in rain, snow, hail, wind and anything else Mother Nature throws at us.
This coming season will be no different for Halo. Our employees are already geared up to respond when and where ever there is a need. We remain focused on helping and giving support to families who have suffered from a loss. As a homeowner myself, I can only imaging the stress and fear that arises when your home is damaged. That is why one of Halo's core values is to treat customers as we would like to be treated. We all, from management to field crews, want to help as much as we possibly can by taking the guesswork out of the claim process and by settling any fears a customer may have.
All of us at Halo are proud to remain as a leader in the insurance restoration industry. This business has grown, but the integrity and core values have remained the same. As we prepare for this season ahead we all remain humbled to have the opportunity to help others that are in need and we look forward to continuing that tradition for many years to come.
We recently had a company picnic honoring the employees of Halo Construction. For the second year in a row, Halo held the company picnic at the Everett Aquasox Baseball game in Everett, WA. This year the employees and their families were treated to a delicious BBQ dinner before the ball game and a fireworks display afterwards. It is nice to be able to spend time outside of work with the people who are our teammates during the work day. We were excited that most every employee was able to make it to the picnic, even those employees from our Tacoma office. Everyone seemed to have a great time and the only problem with the evening was that the Aquasox lost in extra innings to the Yakima Bears.
The company picnic is just one way we express our gratitude to all of Halo’s employees for being loyal, dedicated and hard working individuals. It is our pleasure to once again thank all the employees at Halo Construction. Without each individual, our company would not be what it is today. We are proud to have such a high quality group of people to work with.

Lake Contractors Help Build New Home In 5 Days
