The mission of Snoqualmie Springs School is to provide a safe, caring, enthusiastic, and individually challenging learning environment where each child can learn and develop at their fullest potential. As a diverse and unique learning community, we will work together to create and maximize opportunities for each childs growth and academic success as defined by the Washington State Superintendent of Public Instruction, Essential Academic Learning Requirements (EALRs).
Setting"SnoSprings" School is located on the Sammamish Plateau, two miles northeast of downtown Issaquah and one block south of the Klahanie QFC Shopping Center, The rustic log school house is surrounded by evergreens and gardens, providing a uniquely warm, friendly and safe environment for learning.
Is Your Private School Approved and Accredited?
Before selecting a private school, make sure it is approved by the Washington State Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI)? If not, and your child is attending a Kindergarten or first grade program, they may not be eligible for promotion into the next grade at another public or private elementary school. Students Score Two Grades Above AverageThe June 2010 Developmental Reading Assessment Scores indicate our students are now reading at two grade levels above their current grade, on average. Snoqualmie Springs School holds a State Standards Certificate of Compliance issued by the Washington State Superintendent of Private Instruction. The School is fully accredited by the Northwest Accreditation Commission and is a member of the Washington Federation of Independent Schools.
